just got back from a week at this fabulous hotel have never been to a hotel like it nothing and i mean nothing was to much trouble for the staff who all worked hard to please the rooms were top class and the view from the terrace was spectacular you would have to be very picky to find fault with this hotel and a quick mention for entertainment manager didier the mans a star if you are looking at this hotel book with confidence you wont be sorry

Room Tip: if you can afford it the top floor rooms have a jaccuzi in front of the window overlooking the sea fabulous

Great location overlooking poniente beach.The esplanade is very pleasant for a leisurely stroll before an excellent breakfast.The staff were efficient and informative.

1st class in every way did not want to come home which is unusual for us as a week away is plenty. will be back soon

Room Tip: sea view is a must as the views are stunning looking over to the old town to the left

well where to start - I am in my 30's went for a New Year Break with my 13 year old son and my parents who are in theirs early-mid 50's. we were expecting 2 rooms but instead all put into 1 room , 1 sleeping area with 2 single beds and a sofa bed crammed in, looking out the back end of the building, when speaking to the staff re this we were told they would happily give us another room if we paid more money!! we had already paid £2500 and after speaking to other guests with better rooms they had paid a fraction of that price!! The rep was not much help either. she blamed the hotel staff and they blamed her!! I paid 1250 for myself and my son who was charged as an adult so 4 adults sharing 1 room was an absolute joke! lucky we were 1 family as that was awkward enough! The hotel and food was mainly catered to the spanish, entertainment was awful and nothing at all for kids/teenagers. my son was bored out of his mind! Mostly older people and pensioners in the hotel, many who were lovely and also complaining about the food. the New Years GALA dinner was hardly eaten by any1, as the food was not nice at all, also the fact that us brits were crammed into 2 converted hotel rooms while the spanish guests were downstairs having some sort of party, hats, poppers, music and party bags. us brits got nothing, not even music so the atmosphere was like a dud firework! There is not really an area where you can go sit after dinner with a refreshement apart from outside which was rather cool at this time of year. There were 3 other Magic Hotels we could use while staying there and the best one we found was the Crystal Park, magic cafe where we took in the new year where there are British staff however the food is the same no matter what one you go to. there were a couple of lovely members of staff Ali the bar man was lovely and a couple of the girls were too however there were a few who were just down right arrogant and very ignorant!! I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel for ANY young couples, families or people taking kids/teenages. Nice for older couples/groups who want to go and chill out for a few days as the roof terrace is gorgeous and lovely view if you have a sea facing room, but you could only cope with a few days of that food. safe to say i will never be back there - if goin back to Benidorm I would stay at the Levante beach end where I have stayed before!

Room Tip: Higher floor with sea view - if booking more that 2 people - book seperately as if not your crammed into 1 room!

We appreciate you taking the time to write your comments, guest satisfaction is important for us, and for this we are working with a professional company, leaders in their field to carry out quality surveys during our guests stay and I also can guarantee that all our establishments have ISO certificates.

We really apreciate your positive comments about lovely view from the Chill & Out Terrace on the 9th floor. As you mention about the fabulous Terrace I would like to let know all our tripadvisor members that last year we did a big refurbishing in the hotel and we finished the wonderful Chill & Out Terrace and Spa Area. I invite to visit the fantastic view, probably the best views you can have in a Terrace hotel in Benidorm.

Regarding your comments about your room I would like to let you know again that you booked a double room for four people, if you check again with your travel agency you will see that you have a reservation of one Supreme room for four people as the rep already told you, instead of 2 double rooms.

Concerning your satisfaction about the food I can guarantee that this is one of the most important objectives in the hotel. As I could personally ckeck with you in the New Years Gala the food was ok, I never received any negative comment from you, I can remember that you only mention to cook something special for your 13 year old son and we did it for you. Actually we have a lot of positive comments about the quality and the variety of the food.

Once again we appreciate the Tripadvisor member taking the time to input this review, as we continue to strive towards providing a quality service for all our clients and value all the opinions received from our clients to help us achieve this goal.

It has been our pleasure having you in Villa del Mar and we would like to let you know that we also have hotels in Levante Beach, we hope to see you back again in one of our Costablanca Hotels in Benidorm.

We went to this hotel after being moved from the worst hotel ever well what can I say from the moment we walked through the door greater by a great English receptionist who very quickly got us booked into a sea view room and what a view pure sea view it was very beautiful rooms where exactly what was advertised modern clean and extremely comfortable the food was great fresh and all tasted amazing and I'm a fussy eater but could always find something to eat the chill out lounge on the roof is well worth a daily trip it has a bar a large white leather sun loungers and all you can see is the sea no noise and chill out music the manager of the hotel was extermley good getting to know all his guests and always checking if things are ok to be honest I can't fault this hotel perfect start to the year

Room Tip: Sea view rooms mean sea view that's all you see room 404 was great

Regarding your comments about your visit this year to our hotel I would like to thank you for your positive comments about the friendly staff, specially the receptionist Jessica. Also about the beautiful room with incredible sea view and also about the great fresh food and amazing taste.

As you mention about the Chill & Out Terrace and the fantastic sea view with Chill & Out music we would like to let know all our tripadvisor members that in 2010 we did a big refurbishing in the hotel and we finished the wonderful Chill & Out Terrace and Spa Area.
