Navarra is increasingly a culinary capital of th world, so it's hard to stand out. This is like eating in your grandmother's kitchen: no pretension, but great food. Not a tourist in sight. San Fermin provides an excellent meal in a nice but casual setting. It is a respite from the fiesta storm. We eat here 2 or 3 times every fiesta. Great steak, lamb, and salads, but extraordinary fig ice cream - homemade and unbelievable.
