Having no place picked out, we walked by, glanced at the menu on the wall and walked in. My wife did pinxos and I the 11 Euro 3 course and wine menu. Both were outstanding. We'll go again.

We went there twice, once for the pintxos (the word they use in northern Spain for tapas) and once to the restaurant.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The servers were efficient and knowledgeable.
In most pintxos bars you have to go to the counter to choose the food, but here you sit down and are brought a menu, which is much more relaxing. There are around 15 items, and we tried them all as there were four of us. They varied from octopus with paprika to ham croquettes, prawns with anchovies, the variety is huge. There is also a trio of desserts. It looks expensive, but actually we had around 4 pintxos each, plus two trio of desserts and paid around 15 euros per head, including the beer.
We enjoyed it so much we returned another evening to try out the restaurant. We arrived at 8.10 and were told that they started serving at 8.30. We decided to have a Cava aperitif while we were waiting, and when the final bill came at the end of the meal, I pointed out that they hadn't put the drinks and the waitress said it was on the house, as we had had to wait!
A few of the dishes on the menu are the same as the pintxos menu, although obviously the portion sizes are bigger, but we tried different things, such as a braised oxtail, and everything we tried was equally delicious.
It wasn't even expensive, as the final bill for four, including wine and dessert cam to around 25 euros per person.
I really can't find fault with this place!

We spent three days in Pamplona, and I can say this was the best restaurant or pinchos place we have been to. The first time we went there at lunch for pinchos, and tried 4 each, with a glass of wine. The dishes are very interesting, very accurate and stylish. We spent 15€ each. The waitress was very kind and spoke English. Then because we enjoyed so much we decided to go there in the restaurant part (restaurant and pinchos are not together, divided) and it was a good choice. We had an aperitif at the bar and then a starter (I got a wonderful ratatouille of anchovies), a main course (sirloin, which I recommend) and a dessert taste dish ( three small desserts ). We had a bootle of white wine and spent 25€ each (the aperitif was offered by the restaurant). I really recommend this place, tasty and interesting food, good wine and nice service and atmosphere.

We arrived bere just for chance. 3 types of choice: tapas e raciones served at the "bar" and menu à la carte in the restaurant. Better booking in advance if you want to sit in the restaurant. Excellent quality, presentation and kindness (we dont speak spanish and they tried to explain us each dish).

If you are looking for good food, away from tapas this is a good alternative. We where surprised by very delicate dishes and taste. Highly recommended. Good value.
