“Excellent food and wonderful service.”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

Great pizza and tapas. Friendly waitstaff and right of the Plaza. They offer English speaking menus as well.

“Great food; outdoor seating on the plaza”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Had to write this review. Went to this restaurant for dinner twice in six days. Somehow they managed to seat us outside both times. We shared the excellent Ceaser salad with the best traditional dressing. We tried different pizzas on each visit. The one with apples and pine nuts was great. The 7 cheese pizza might have edged it out for top choice. Finished the first night with two deserts. They were both top drawer, but the white and chocolate mousse with a layer of cake and chocolate fudge sauce was sinful. The second night we ended the fine dining experience with homemade tagliatelle pasta in a slightly spicy sauce with small shrimp. A beautiful dish but you need to like cracked pepper as a spice which I did. The red wine by the glass is top notch, and of you time your dinner right during San Fermin, you can walk across the plaza and watch the fireworks!

“As much Italian as the Eiffel Tower”
Reviewed August 25, 2011

We had the bad luck to end up in Pamplona during a Catholic holiday and so most of the restaurants were closed. Fed up with the pinxtos we ended up in La Tagliatella which was the only reasonable thing open, and packed with locals. Now, if you expect an Italian meal forget it. The food here is as much Italian as the Eiffel tower. Maybe the original recipes have some link to Italy but the Basque kitchen made a big restyle here. But after you overcome the initial surprise it is not that bad actually. We had the risotto with duck which tastes more like paella. So, if these two rice dishes always tasted the same to you anyway don't bother to read anymore and endulge yourself on a cheap pasta. Never mind the service. It's cheap, it's convenient, it's always open and it's fast.

“Glass in the ice cream!!!!”
Reviewed July 21, 2011

Bottom line is I had glass in the icecream. A big piece of glass. I complained ............and got the icecream free

I wrote to customer service at the website. It is a franchise and got no response

Do not eat there. That can be my only advice.

Shame really as Pamplona needs something a bit more than the tapas bars and expensive restaurants
