Located in the Plaza de las Flores which is crammed with tapas bars, many of which have undergone some sort of renovation over recent years. It was early in the week, so things were a touch quieter than at the weekend.
I was with a colleague, who is vegetarian, which can prove to be a challenge. Thankfully, there were enough delectable morsels to keep us both happy. Cheese, tomato salad, some grilled vegetables and a couple of meat dishes for me accompanied by some local red wine, made for a very convivial evening.
The Spanish can very direct but I'm always amazed at the number of tables/guests that are looked after by one waiter. They could teach us a thing or two.
