Description: Restaurant - Live Spectacle Reference of the Flamenco art in Madrid - The singularity of Casa Patas is the combination of traditional restoration and high quality flamenco performances.Located in the ground floor of a building dated in the 1880´s in Lavapies district. After decades of history, Casa Patas has been able to earn, not without effort, the respect of the flamenco lovers and has become a reference of this art in Madrid.Tavern Restaurant Casa Patas takes great care of the quality of its products, respecting at the same time the values of the Mediterranean traditional kitchen. Some appreciated products of our gastronomy, like Iberian ham, the best cheeses, and an excellent wine selection are offered next to traditional high- quality Spanish cooking (ox tail, lamb chops and superb home-made desserts).LIVE FLAMENCO SHOWSThe history of Casa Patas is one of the evolution of flamenco through the last decades. By its scenery have passed the most excellent flamenco names.Every year, 300 performances take place, carried out by more than 100 different flamenco groups. These never leave spectators impassive nor the most purist fans nor visitors who approach flamenco for the first time. Specialized guides and media describe Casa Patas like “the temple of flamenco”. And our desire is that its name will continue to grow.

“Flamenco in madrid”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

We enjoyed a very pleasant evening in Madrid. We reserved a table the day before, but on a Wednesday night in September, you could have likely gotten a table when walking in. The waiter was very attentive and helped me with my Spanish phrases. The meal, tomato salad to share and two entrees - one of salmon, one of leg of lamb, was well prepared, and served in a simple format. We shared a bottle of wine, and together with the tickets to the flamenco the total bill was 140€. The Flamenco dancers were wonderful. Expressive, energetic and flamboyant! The musicians, a guitar player and violin werre outstanding, and played a couple of numbers on their own, and this was excellent,.

“Amazing Flamenco and Sangria”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

Had a Great experience at Casa Patas. Performers were excellent from the dancers to the singers as well as the violinist and guitar players. Price was 34 euro w/ 1 drink and well worth it for 1 1/2 hrs. Sangria was the best so far in Madrid. Hung out for a drink with the violinist who was great company. Definitely recommend and would do it again.

“Most delicious and authentic dinner experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

My daughter was staying in Spain for the summer and her 'house mom' of her apartment recommended this restaurant for the best flamenco dance show. It was! Thank you, Manuela! Not only was the show fantastic but the dinner before was amazing from the appetizers to the suggested wine as well as the main courses and desserts. We got priority seating for the show because we had dinner. Word to the wise, sit in priority seating or behind so as to not get showered by the amazing, sweaty, male dancer.

“Exciting show and great dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2013

One of the wonderful places in Madrid to enjoy flamenco, popular among tourists. Good location, not far from subway. It was possible to book a table for the show online, however the website is not too friendly. We were about an hour before the show and were able to have dinner in the restaurant without reservation (the show takes place in another room with smaller tables). The show price includes one free drink.

“Fabulous Flamenco and good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

This a not a tourist trap. It is a genuine Spanish eating experience topped by some serious flamenco... The restaurant is really a lively bar with a massive array of hams hanging from the wall. The food is rustic and the portions large. The Flamenco is held in a moody back room. Some people only come for the Flamenco but they are missing the whole experience of seeing the evenings performers arrive in the bar. This creates a great atmosphere. We phoned in advance so they reserved us good seats for the Flamenco so we didn't have to rush through when we finished our meal. The Flamenco itself was the highlight of our trip to Madrid. So passionate. So dynamic. And performed by those that loved what they were doing - dancers and musicians. You must go here!
