“Crowded, Fun,musical”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

Good place.
The experience could be quite different depending of the day.
concerts are nice, music is nice, dancing salsa on weekends is too crowded....
The food depends on the day you go.
Quality is good nothing too special.
cocktails are great.

“My favourite salsa place in Madrid”
Reviewed June 6, 2012

I discovered this place in 2010 while spending weekend in Madrid. Have never been there for eating so this review will be about having drinks and dancing. Entrance costs 10 Eur and it includes one drink. So after you have got your drink you can enjoy music, dance or just rest. What I love about this place is live music and atmosphere - in spite of being pretty crowded, especially during the weekends, it has kind of cozy family feeling.

“Cuban Flavor, cuban party!”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

Loved the mojito, loved the rice, beans, platanos and ropa vieja. We were told they stop serving dinner at 11pm and it gets very busy so you might want to order 2 drinks at a time. The live music was awesome, the girl band was amazing and they rocked it!

“Excellent Cuban food!”
Reviewed January 5, 2012

It is strange to visit Madrid and go to a Cuban restaurant with all the fantastic Spanish food around you. But La Negra Tomasa is worth the exception. Passing by I entered one day for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was authentic and simply delicious. The home made tamales are like very few I have eaten. I have never gone in the evening but every time I am in Madrid I make a point of having lunch there. You will not be disappointed.

“Yummy!”
Reviewed August 20, 2010

I have had Cuban food a few times and this is a good place. Food is good, tasty and filling portions, it can get very busy so its a good idea to reserve. Mojitos are great and most nights there is live music so it's worth hanging around and having a dance. Nice atmosphere!
