the room is average in size and could use an extra pillow or two, the amenities are clean and easily accessible although a shower mat to stand on would have been nice; the service of the people is extremely helpful and friendly and generally good value for money, it is near the metro which takes you all over Madrid and the shopping nearby is fantastic.

Receptionist was rude and unhelpful accusing us of not paying for breakfast which I had booked on-line. When I produced the receipt we didn't even get an apology. She became argumentative raising her voice to us. While I appreciate this is a budget hotel, courtessy costs nothing. This was totally unacceptable.

We stayed for 6 days in May and needed somewhere to securely leave the car. This hotel is a brilliant budget choice. The staff are great, polite and helpful, the rooms are adequate, small but clean and tidy. Underground parking for €7 a day in Madrid is good. The hotel is 2 mins from the Suanzes Metro station (20 mins to the city centre) and there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. By the hotel is a great park for walking, running & chilling.
All for €35 a night, in a capital city. Brilliant.

We stayed there for few nights. It's standard Ibis budget hotel. Located about 200 m from Suanzes metro station, not far away from Barajas aeroport and about ten metro stations from center of the city. 300 m from hotel by main road there is a small market OpenCor with friendly prices. You can find also some restaurants there.

Room was not very spacious but OK for couple of nights, with 3 beds (one bunk bed can be also used as a shelf). No closet only some hangers. Small desk and only one plastic stool. It's specific construction of sanitary facilities - toilet and shower in separate tubes. It's clean, 2 big and 2 small towels. TV and free internet (30 min. passwords you can get free in reception).

Nice staff, poeple speak english quite OK. And the most important - price were very nice - less than 40 E for double (triple) room.

I love Ibis hotels - clean, sleak, new. This one was all of those things. A fun little budget hotel. It is, however, in the middle of nowhere, which was fine for my purposes, but I would never choose this hotel if doing tourism in Madrid.

We were delighted with our stay at the Hotel Ibis Budget c/Rufino Gonzalez 19, Madrid. The rooms are, of course, small, but at a cost of £30 for a double room, no complaints! The beds were comfortable, the showers, sinks and towels perfectly clean. A lot of thought had gone into making it possible to fit into a small room. More mirrors and hooks on walls than in more expensive accommodation. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was also extremely cheap for a city centre, at 7 euros per day. Free wi-fi, to the delight of my two teenage sons. The metro (Suanzes) was less than a two minute walk away. It was 11 stops to the centre (about 15 mins), and a 10 journey metro ticket cost 12 euros. The area around the hotel was quiet. I would definitely stay here again, or in any other Ibis budget hotel.
