We have been staying in this hotel for twice and once we were sent to the other joint hotel just beside them due to overbooking. Everytime we visit Madrid, we'll go back there because although the room is simple but clean and comfortable, big enough for 3 of us. Beside that, the other advantage is the metro station just round the corner so making it very convenience to move about Madrid. There's no problem to park our car along the street and take the metro to explore the city. Highly recommended for those looking for good budget hotel for less than 40€!

Normally I am not a complaining guy, but entering a hotelroom and noticing a total lack of glasses, cups or what have you - just to brush your teeth with - was reason for a first complaint. The answer - ''we never supply glasses or papercups'' - was really surprising. Eventually I got a few plastic cups (the same they use in the morning for your fruitjuice), but still it wasn't very professional. And then the towels: the first one had brown stains on it and the second one was coloured red (as in lipgloss). I told them and can only hope they find a better cleaners.
Breakfast was OK. Not luxurious, but as you expect in an ETAP hotel. The hotel is situated in an industrial estate, but with one hundred meters of a subway station that brings you direct to the Opera and with one change of trains to all other touristy places in Madrid. No complains there. Staff was friendly and tried to speak English. As it was my first visit to Spain, my Spanish is non existant, but we manage.

Service is OK, but finding laundry is difficult, the advice is not really useful and we have to postpone the laundry in our next destination, nonetheless, room was clean and practical, location was excellent with 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro Suanzes, definitely a good pick if you are traveling on a budget
