“Excellent food - Does not open until 8.30pm”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2013

We went here quite early on our first night in Madrid after a recomendation by a local and found out that the restaurant doesn't actually open until 8.30. We therefore went back on another night and are pleased we did. Food and service was excellent.

“Right at the top of Gran Via”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2013

I had been here a few times before while visiting the city for business by myself and it was always great. This time I brought my family to Madrid and insisted that we should have dinner here. Again I was not disappointed and my family all had a great dinner. We had a variety of dishes and asked for advise on the wine. Easily they coulod have given us the most expensive one on the list (which is still not expensive compared to the Netherlands) but instead they recommended a reasnobly priced one which accompanied all of our dishes very well.

“Come in, leave your money and go away”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

Friday night it's busy. We are group of 25 and on time.
Service is slow and commercially below par: not seeing the empty wine bottles cost you money and unhappy customers.
When clock approached 11 PM we were strongly suggested not to have dessert since another group was about to arrive.
Food? Yes, we had some. Did not leave an impression that needs to be described here.

“A lively and happy tapas bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

I visited this place three times on a recent trip to Madrid. Eating taps in the bar was great..there was a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere and the food was interesting. The restaurant is pleasantly organised. The food was enjoyable ….leeks and ham and lamb followed by chocolate mousse. Excellent

“Hip Friendly Comfortable.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

The reviews were good, and they were booked out on a Saturday night . They made a really genuine effort to fit us in to no avail - so we went back on the Sunday.

Really nice.
The Bench tables a a great idea - especially for groups.

There was no hassle about 4 of us being on the set menu and 2 on a different menu. The food was great and the service excellent.
No complaints at all.
Great value
