We arrived on a weekend I was aware there was no match, we turned up and were able to get tickets for a tour no problem.

The access the tour gives you is surprising, and it was great to see all around this impressive stadium.

We opted to take the escorted tour of this iconic stadium. The trophies on display attest to the success of Real Madrid. Most impressive were all the trophies Cristiano Renaldo won as a player. Must experience if you are a soccer/football fan.

My review consists of two parts: 1) the stadium and the game I went to and 2) the Real Madrid customer service which is important to flag. Review relates to trip in October 2018

Stadium and game
I would give this 4 out of 5. Stadium is truly amazing and the game was great even though Real Madrid got beat! Great atmosphere and we had a great view of the game. Only slight criticism is that the seating area looks a bit tired and you cannot buy alcohol in the ground. Also, at the end of the game the stewards kick you out fairly early which was slightly annoying but overall this is a must for any football fan.

Customer service
God help you if you have a problem with your tickets as to say Real Madrid customer service is poor is an understatement. Without going into too much detail, we booked tickets online and didn't get a confirmation email even though the money came off our bank account. So we were left in limbo for hours not knowing whether or not we had tickets. Called countless numbers in Spain trying to confirm whether or not we had tickets and got sent from pillar to post and in the end we were told to email some customser serviice email. In the end we were told we didn't have tickets and would be refunded the money. So we were back to square one and had to order again! But given the time to resolve the issue the tickets were selling out so we could no longer buy tickets for €90 or less but now we could only get tickets for €140! Absolute scandal! Reluctantly bought as already booked flights and hotels so that did put a bit of a dampener on the trip. Complained to the club but got absolutely nowhere. They're simply not interested! Also, if you think you can resolve things when you get to the ground forget it - they're useless too! And that's if you manage to find anyone! So we've learned that the only realistic channel to complain is an email address which is also useless.

So now you know why Real Madrid is such a rich club. So I would give customer service 1 out of 5. Finally, I think its extremely telling that Real Madrid do not comment on any of theses reviews on Trip Advisor unlike other service providers e.g. hotels and restaurants. Have a look yourself. You will not see a single response to any review here from the club. Why? Because they're not interested.

So in summary so long as your order goes through okay then you should be fine but god forbid you experience a problem and have to contact them. You have been warned.

The stadium is tremendous, at least on American Football standards, lol. The crowd was enthusiastic but not crazy. Getting in and out was easy with great access form all 4 corners. Views and seats were well laid out. Prices are reasonable, we bought tickets directly from the ticket office at the stadium, cheaper than on line and easier to choose. The sales people were helpful and all spoke English well. If you buy from the stadium be careful not to wait on the wrong line, there is a ticket window around gate 9 on Passeo de la Castellana that is for the tour of the stadium. The ticket window for regular games was around to gate 40. Dont wind up waiting on the wrong line as we did. Depending on the score of the game and your enthusiasm you may head for the stairs a couple of minutes before the end of the game. This puts you out on the street before 85,000 other fans.

Real Madrid Stadium is for sure something worth visiting. The tour is not expensive, you may spend more than one hour there. Nice place to see. a bit far from city center; however, next to Santiago Bernabeu Metro Station in Line No. 1 (around 10 metro stations from City Center)

Anyone who followed football knows the history of Real Madrid. The stadium tour is well done and allows you to see the great history of the club through interactive exhibits and trophy rooms (of which there are many). My 9 and 6 year old children loved the tour - it was one of their favorite activities in Madrid.

Totally impressive and very pompous stadium! They display all of their trophies, locker rooms, press rooms, coach seats by the court and much more. They even had a copy of the players’ bus illustrating the experience of screaming fans. They also offer taking pictures of you “next to” a player of the team of your choice and one where you touch the Champions League Trophy, but they charge 13/18€ per picture (according to size). A must see when in Madrid :-)

My friend and I recently took in the derby match between Real and Atletico at the Benabeu. It is a magnificent stadium, though the tickets we purchased were behind the goals, and the second row from the top. Not the best place to be, but given the pricing for these tickets, because of the local rivalry, we had to accept them. The view of the park is good from all of the areas inside the stadium, and the capacity crowd adds to the positive atmosphere. If you haven't been, I recommend that you give it a try, either for the stadium tour, or for a match, or both. One piece of advice though, buy your match tickets direct from the stadium ticket office and get them at face value. Not realistic though if Real are playing Atletico or Barcelona/
