“VALUE FOR MONEY”

I think is the best choice If you want a cheap but good hotel. Two metro stations are 2 minutes away from the hotel. But do not go for a drink at the lobby because is very expensive.

If you want to stay in Chueca then this is the perfect hotel for you, you'll be close to most of the (gay) bars and clubs. You are also just about 15 minutes walk from all the tourist attractions. The hotel in itself is nice, our room was small but with a quirky decor. There was a (very) bad smell from the drain from time to time and there was an air freshener in the room (Made it a bit better). Not a big problem for us as we were out and about most of the time. There is also a nice roof top terrace with the a swimming pool and nice cocktails, nice way to start the night (Be aware, prices are twice what you will pay in the bar next door). finally, the breakfast was really good with a very good selection and service throughout our stay was spot on. We will be back.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite if you can, rooms looked more spacious and much better and prices are not that mu...

Very central hotel, a hop, skip and a jump from Gran Via metro. Really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommended for a younger crowd or those young at heart. The music from the rooftop bar keeps pumpin till the wee hours - so take note. The rooms are funky and were kept really clean.

Did not partake in the buffet breakfast as there are several cafes nearby with great ambience and there are lots of great restaurants nearby as well .

Room Tip: Stayed on the third floor - relatively quiet once the window was closed.

The terrace bar is just gorgeous. I've been there working a few times (I'm a Madrid Tour Guide) and everybody loves it. The only problem are the prices, but if money is not an issue for you, then don't leave Madrid without trying it, specially in summer, there's a tiny swimingpool!

Spent 2 nights here for a good rate; the other reviews have pointed out the location is a great selling point; really central, close to all the shops, bars, and just off Gran Via. Aside from location the hotel boasts a nice terrace bar and a fairly modern vibe. Room wise it's a bit style over substance and I'd echo other reviews that whilst it can appear all tres chic and interesting it does so at the damage of being robust - case in point the lovely green chair for the desk - very nice except that the arms don't fully fit under the desk, result? Scuffed arms that make the chair look worn and weary. That said, my room was big and the large sofa was a nice touch - as well as the rainforest shower which was a great size.
Check in was fairly quick and friendly and the free wi-fi was good to have. The problem with reviewing a hotel like this is that the rooms are so unique that a review of one doesn't really compare apples with apples - hence why I think some of the reviews can be so polarised.
I'll share the common themes;
1) Heating / air con -as others have mentioned there was a large control panel on the wall but didn't work. Wouldn't want to be here in a hot summer without it working
2) Noise: I was on the first floor and this is a fairly noisy hotel - especially with a loud bar on the roof - as I wasn't really going to sleep until 2am it didn't bother me too much, but if you're an earlier / light sleeper you might think twice
3) Deli/room service - this is great - the food is a fairly reasonable price (although min. spend 18 euro's) but it's made fresh off site and delivered within 30 mins. Compared to a lot of freezer to fryer hotel food it made a nice change.

In summary - without wishing to sound ageist (because I'm really talking about a state of mind) - but this hotel is best suited to those with a more youthful state of mind who are pretty relaxed about their stay; it won't suit those more used to a more traditional hotel stay.

Room Tip: Light sleepers should go for room on the first or second floor.

The hotel was fine - allthough not quite as fancy as the pictures let you believe. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom not very private, but it is clean, nice and functional. Hotel staff is very nice and helpfull.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is very close to Grand Via and the Chueca district. Within walking distance from most of the things you will want to visit as a tourist.
