This was a one night stay for an international flight. The hotel is ultra modern but cold without personality. We came to a dark room and it took about five minutes to find the lights. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is expensive 20 euros in advance or 26 in the morning. The hotel is so isolated that there is no other breakfast choice. Convenient but only recommended for travelers.

We just spent a night at this great hotel, on our way to Punta Cana. It was great, we almost didn't want to leave!!! They had kindly upgraded us to a fabulous suite, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Check in was easy.....and as we got there late, we went straight down to have dinner, in the lovely "courtyard setting". Next days breakfast was also enjoyable. After which The Hilton shuttlebus took us back to the airport, in time for our next flight.

We stayed in the Hilton for four nights. It is wonderful for air travelers with a convenient location to close-by Barajas. It is quiet, lovely, and the staff is very friendly.

The cost of food is absurd. The cost of internet is even more absurd $30/Day.

They swear the airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes. That was not our experience. My wife has bad knees, so we took the metro to/from the city via the airport to use the hotel shuttle. We spent two nights freezing in the dark waiting for airport shuttles, One night we waited 55 minutes, the next we waited 75 minutes. We also had the experience of one zipping right by us without even looking at the stop to see if anyone was there.

If you arrive into Madrid by train getting to the hotel would be a very expensive cab ride. Take the metro (watch for pickpockets) to the Airport T-2 and take the hotel shuttle. Don't try to arrive using the (closer by) metro stop Alameda De Osuna as there is no shuttle or taxi service and you will be lost in a mid-rise housing jungle near that metro stop. Not fun in the rain.

So, in the future. if I were to coming to Madrid to see Madrid, I'd stay somewhere closer in. If I were coming to use the airport, I'd absolutely stay at this lovely Hilton!

The Hilton is a big modern hotel at the Barajas airport. It is wonderfully appointed, with a very friendly staff, and excellent accommodations. The shuttle works perfectly and the subway is at walking distance in order to visit downtown.

Check-in and checkout was prompt, efficient and friendly, such a friendly receptionist is always appreciated when you come in late after many hours of flying.

The rooms are quite big for European standards, with a very nice, big and modern bathroom, truly amazing! The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable; I really had a pleasant dream! The restaurant is very good and food is top notch for a late dinner. Breakfast service is very good with plenty to choose from and with high quality.

This is my first choice for a short stay in Madrid.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Shuttle from the airport was great and only took 3 -4 minutes. The reception staff were also happy to arrange shuttle to the nearest metro station if shuttle was available. Walk to metro only took 10 minutes anyway. Room was very modern and comfortable. While it's an airport hotel and a bit out of town (15 - 20 mins on metro), it's well worth the trouble and I would highly recommend.

I stayed in the Hilton Madrid Airport for one night when traveling back to the US from Morocco. When I arrived at the airport I called to see when I would be able to catch the shuttle and they said it runs every 20 minutes. As I walked over to the shuttle pick up area, the Hilton bus was arriving but instead of stopping to wait it cruised right though, not even slowing to see if anyone would stand to get on board. I was quite frustrated with that so when the next shuttle came through I immediatly flagged it down. The ride to the hotel is very short and the hotel was very comtemporary and clean. I was on the Hilton Hhonors floor and found my room to be very comfortable. I went to the HHonors lounge and the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when printing my boarding pass for the next day. Their English was very good and there were no problems with communication.

My only complaint is the 22 Euros for internet access in your room - I thought this fee was quite high compared to most hotels that I have stayed in.

Room service was very good and their service was prompt. I also found several English speaking channels on TV which was refreshing since most hotels have only one channel.

Airport hotels have many different uses but for the most part, they cater to the overnight guests who are between two flights, or "connecting" to/from another mode of transportation. Such hotel need to be conveniently located, with frequent shuttle service (if not connected to airport directly), clean, efficient for check-in/check-out, business amenities (internet...), flexible hours for room service/restaurant and so on. From the perspective, the Hilton Madrid met my expectation (only "negative" was the wait for the shuttle from the airport which was above 20 minutes).

The hotel has a very modern and contemporary look throughout.

This Hilton property use the NOR-1 system for upgrades at time of check-in. For those not familiar with this system, after booking, it allows one to be on a waiting list for a room in a higher category (such as executive floor or suites) at a deep discount versus regular price. If the "requested" upgrade is available at time of check-in, the guest is automatically upgraded for the agreed upon extra. There is a lot of debate on the merit of such system, especially among members of Hilton's frequent guest programs. Some would argue that top members should have access to any rooms, including suite, without having to premiums whereas others see the opportunity to get access to a better room that what they would be entitled to for a deep discount.

I actually decided to apply for the upgrade and requested the Health/spa room which include an oversized bathroom with jacuzzi. The room as well is much larger than the standard room and seem to feature upgraded amenities - for a very reasonable premium of 19euros. This was a great room and did not regret my decision

The hotel has an executive lounge which features two internet/computer station. Standard complimentary breakfast is available in the morning but top-tier members are also invited to enjoy a complimentary full "american" breakfast in the main restaurant. Food was of good quality and service was friendly.

Another good thing is that the hotel room had been prepared as requested. Due to allergies, I always request feather pillows/duvet to be removed prior to arrival. i have found that this request is carried appropriately only 50% of the time. Upon check-in, they acknowledged my request and indicated that the upgraded room had been prepared as desired - this is even more important at an airport location where you often either check-in late or check-out early and don't want to waste time dealing with problems/housekeeping...

Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, including shuttle driver.

As an airport hotel, there is not much to say about the location, other than it is close to the airport, and one of the main highway. Not much to really see and do around.

Very highly recommended
