A nice hotel in a great location. Starbucks is a minutes walk away for a morning caffine fix. Plenty of food options available. Do not hesitate to order room service (especially the sushi) which is really good.

The hotel was very clean, a good price and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The only downside was that the kitchen area did not have any utensils which kinda defeats the purpose.

Overall clean, good value for money, good location and would stay again..

Nice small hotel located very convieniently on Leganitos street. It was very easy to find the hotel from metro. The street continues uphill to Granvia and the popluar shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.Very clean and spacious room.Loved the small hotel.the metro ticket only cost 2,50 euros per person from the airport. We walked even in the night from the shopping area to the hotel. The bus station is about 30 minutes away and u can easly reach from the metro as the metro station is about 2 mins away.

Location was perfect ! A short walk from square España on one side and on the other side of the street - not far from the Puerta del Sol.
Staff (especially Manuel) could not have been more helpful !
The room was remarkably clean. The room was very spacious. Suite has a micro-heating food and water for making coffee. There is a corner with sofa and Highly recommended!!!!
Definitely go back to this lovely hotel !!!
coffee table that can sit in and eat.
Double bed was especially wide. Bed linen - new and shiny !!!
Our room turned into the courtyard and therefore, we enjoyed the quiet.
Floor was made of white marble This hotel was lovely, just what we were looking for!
and was very very clean. I prefer a marble floor instead of carpet.
In addition, the room has a beautiful desk.
The room was lit by many lighting points.
Size of the room - very spacious !!!!
could not have asked for more!!!!

Room Tip: Higher floor !!! room turned into the courtyard !!!

It's a highly rated 4 star hotel, but I was underwhelmed. While affordable for a 4 star hotel, it was very average. It's located 1 road off Plaza Espana (good), but the road is seedy. The rooms were clean, but the layout was bizarre (kitchenette, but no dishes). We arrived at 7 PM and the room was not ready. They put us in the handicap room and the bathroom was terrible.

Acceptable if your staying for 1 day and on a strict budget, but I would stay elsewhere next time

I don't understand why so many reviewers here said that the bed was very comfortable, it was as hard as a wooden block. Yes it was super king and spacious, but it was far from being comfortable. Mattresses these days are very comfortable, people who said the mattress on Suite 33 is comfortable certainly have never slept on "comfortable" mattresses.

Other than that the "suite" was actually a very nice room, spacious, very clean and very well lit. However, the bathroom, though very large, needed more lights, it was rather dark. Amenities was minimal, but we expected that considering the rate was not very expensive. There was a little kitchen area with microwave, stove and even dish washer, but no utensils whatsoever. I guess originally, they were designing the suites for long stay guests.

The street was noisy, a lot of noisy drunk people at night, there were a few striptease joints on the street and it can get a little 'Bronxy'. I didn't mind though, because again, it was cheap. it was close to a lot of things but I could feel that it was not on the safest street in Madrid. If I have a teenage kid, I wouldn't let him or her roaming around the area alone.

All in all it was a very good value for money, pity the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The room was very clean though, and the staff was quite helpful.
