Recently opened, we were told by our waitress, by a Japanese chef from a restaurant in the city that had to close when its elderly owner retired, the Kimura is rare in that it is actually run by Japanese staff. The sashimi and sushi are truly excellent. Probably some of the best you can find in Madrid. The restaurant itself is simply decorated, probably too simply, perhaps a symptom of its recent opening. However, this also means you can eat truly superb Japanese food for a very reasonable price. We lived in Japan for three years and it's the best we have had in Spain. The waitress who served us was fantastic.
