Very nice boutique style hotel (albeit bit more faded/worn than the polished professional photos suggest). Good location, very central for museums & few nice bars/cafes close by for breakfast, a post-sightseeing refreshment or a night-cap as they're open until late. Wouldn't recommend if your priority is social scene as main areas are 20 mins walk /EUR 8 taxi away. But rooms are bright, airy & well appointed with smart, modern, open-plan layout & decent showers. Small spa, steam room & pool (bit too chilly!) to refresh after day exploring, good TV channel section & free wifi (if patchy coverage, no service in our room). Staff exceptionally helpful with bar/terrace restaurant manager (Jaime) just brimming with proactive offers of helpful tips, directions & bar/restaurant recommendations. Safe bet if you're struggling to pick.

This is a small boutique hotel with a great location. If you are looking for traditional "Ritz" luxury, this place is not for you. This hotel is more like very high-end apartment building with a great and very resourceful doorman. The lobby is certainly lacking, but the rooms are very nice and comfortable. The location is great, you are in the middle of everything with the best shopping street right around the corner. Also, there is a very popular bar and restaurant downstairs.

This is a first class hotel with very comfortable rooms. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home and to help resolve any questions or issues. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Many thanks to Director Sergio Martin and his staff!

Organizing a business event in Hospes Madrid I can say that this was an excellent hotel to do so. The support from the staff was excellent, the meeting rooms and facilities were excellent and the hotel rooms are very nice.
The hotel is in the heart of Madrid surrounded by everything you need at walking distance.
I would certainly go back here for the next event.

If you enjoy a morning walk or a run, the hotel is located right next to a huge and beautifully kept park. You are close to many great little bars and places to eat. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful (A towel and water welcomed me back from my run. Nice touch).

I stayed at this hotel only one night. It is brilliantly located and very boutique in style with a small gym, pool, and spa. Excellent terrace bar and restaurant and typically good breakfast. The bedroom on two levels boasted top quality mattress, pillow, and linens. The bathroom was superb with rain shower and great toiletries. Above all the hotel staff were wonderful and Lucas the concierge should be mentioned as especially helpful. Great place to stay.

Room Tip: Prefer rooms on one level.

I was with my family for three days. It is one of the hotels that I liked of Madrid, I loved the decor and detail of the different drinks during check-in.
The spa pool although small, invites total relaxation. The staff is very correct and polite.
The location is excellent, strategically located near of the most emblematic museums in the capital.
The bath is a dream, and the opening of the bed is a detail worthy five stars.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy an exquisite stay at all levels.
