The hostel looks very nice and original at the inside. The rooms and beds are ok. Unfortunately, the kitchen is dirty and there are just a few pans and plates. Besides, the guy who had to help us at the reception had no answers to our very basic questions and let us wait forever for one of his collegues.

I was back in Madrid for a class reunion. I like the hostel quite a lot! Location is perfect, in the heart of Chueca and close to the main commercial area and other sights, it is clean and safe! Chueca is also a nice place for its nightlife. So you can easily walk around with no need of public transportation.
The only thing I didn't like was the size of the beds. I'm tall and that's usually a issue in places like this.

We where there from the 17th of July to the 21st and it has been a great stay, with large places, a lot of services, a really nice and helpful staff, good food and nice breakfast, not so much possibility of choice , but good (in particular donuts). Furthermore, it is really close to the main street (Gran Via) and to all the main buildings of the city. In conclusion, it has been a great holiday in a great hostel.

We had a great stay at Cheuca Room 007. The hostel is very clean and safe, and the reception people were very friendly and helpful. It was a while since I had been in a hostel, and being middle aged I was a bit apprehensive. However, I need not have worried. I guess most guests are on the young side, but I think this is the sort of hostel all ages could easily be comfortable in. I also enjoyed the restaurant/bar. There are some good deals for cheap eats and drinks from the hostel reception, but the restaurant is worth eating at a la carte style with the tapas and other options. It is noteworthy that a lot of local people come to eat at the restaurant for dinner too. All in all, highly recommended.

You are absolutely right, our facilities are prepared to have all type of visitors. A private double room in the heart of Madrid or a mixed room to interact with the rest of guests for solo travellers.
