The hotel is within a 2 minute walk of the nearest metro station, 10 minutes from the Prado and Retiro park and within a 25 minute walk of the Plaza Mayor - perfect location. The staff were very efficient and helpful and the room was of a good standard. Only downside was the cost of breakfast.

I stayed with my gf one night and the location is excellent, just a block away from the metro station and close to tourist attractions. Nice staff service and very appropriate shuttle service to airport for just €35. Awesome room and even nicer bathroom. Too bad for the wifi, too slow but I bet is a bandwidth problem cause of all the rooms. They gotta fix this to make it perfect

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days on 23rd and 24th on June 2014. The great thing about the hotel is the location. It is close to the railway station, metro station, three famous museums, supermarkets and buses to pretty much all the main locations in Madrid. There is also Mc Donalds, KFC, Thai, Italian and a variety of restaurants nearby. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and nice looking. But thats pretty much it. The mattresses are not comfortable (box spring beds, the Ibis Budget we stayed at before this had much more comfortable beds). There is no coffee/tea making facility in the rooms of a hotel which claims to be 4 star! And there is no WIFI!!! They charge an extra 3.5 for day (which isnt much, so why cant they include it with the price of the room?) Why trouble the customers to go down to the reception and take the internet slip every day? All in all, I dont think this hotel is worth the price or the rating. Especially considering that there are plenty of hotels on the same road.

PS: The staff at the reception were kind enough to get my boarding pass printed out.

This hotel is central to most attractions in Madrid and only 100meters from a city tour bus stop to see the rest. Walking distance to the big galleries, gardens etc. The desk staff were very helpful and assisted with any request. The bar area is comfortable and the dining room spacious with a great breakfast.

This is probably one of my favourites. The value, the location, accessibility - incredible. To get here from the airport of Madrid was a breeze, 2.5 Euro train (travelling in europe cannot get more affordable than that) from the airport to Atocha (the central area of Madrid). The train drops you in the station of Atocha which is where all intercity trains depart from Madrid, and the Hotel is literally across the street. So as someone who had to travel to Valencia and Barca over the week there, it was ideal.

You have a lot of local and international chain restaurants in walking distance. McDonalds next door, Turkish, Tapas, Chinese - anything!! Shopping wouldn't be difficult to get to. The metro is no more than a 5 minute walk from the Hotel either. Rent a car and supermarkets are also within 5 minutes walking.

Friendly staff, GREAT breakfast and excellent rooms. (CAUTION: I first got a corner room, and I DREADED staying in this hotel. The corner room made for "1 person" felt like I was in a budget hotel. Being frustrated from this, I asked for a room change since my cousin would be joining me - so they gave me a regular room on the same floor and I was taken aback. Extremely modern, clean and spacious! So make sure you get a regular room!)

Room Tip: I first got a corner room, and I DREADED staying in this hotel. The corner room made for "1 per...

A few paces from the Atocha Metro stop and Atocha Train station. Walking distance to all major art museums, parks, and shops. We found exceptional traditional Spanish breakfasts at street level Hotel Mora Restaurant (2 breakfasts with cafe con leche 7 Euros total or $9.72 total! Quite a bargain!) Large, quiet, comfortable room with working elevators! Don't miss the nearby wall of plants!

This was our second visit to Madrid and our first stay at Husa Paseo del Arte. Last time we paid nearly as much for a hotel in the same location which was half as good.
This hotel really is a gem - so close to Atocha Station which makes it very handy to arrive to, and just a stone's throw to the gorgeous Reina Sofia Museum. The Prado isn't much further away, with Retiro Park beyond, and Madrid's lovely Botanical Gardens are just across the road if you fancy a quiet stroll.
There are plenty of good places to eat nearby - we didn't have the hotel breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the dining room looked light, spacious and inviting.
Our room was just lovely - there were three of us so we actually had two adjoining rooms, each with
a large, very comfortable bed and tasteful fittings and furnishings. The windows to the street must have been double-glazed as we were not troubled by any traffic noise at all - incredible for such a big, busy city. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and fresh, and big! Another unexpected treat.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. Nothing was a problem and the hotel's airport shuttle service was excellent (and also very reasonably priced).
All in all, Husa Paseo del Arte is a fabulous hotel that I would definitely stay in again and have no hesitation in recommending. Here you have a high quality room in a perfect location to enjoy the sights of Madrid...and you're not paying the earth!

Room Tip: We had two adjoining rooms on the 6th floor. Perfect for a family.
