This hotel has a great location with almost every tourist attraction within 15 to 20 minutes of walking (fine, make that brisk walking!)
The rooms are large and well maintained for a heritage building. The beds are extraordinarily large and comfortable. And the double windows do a great job of keeping the noise out.
Like any other four star property in Europe, do not expect too much by the way of amenities. And, since this property is surrounded by buildings on all four sides, do not expect much of the view!
Special call outs to Alex, the bartender for being such fun. You made us want to order a drink at the hotel bar ... something I would normally not do, with so many great drinking places nearby.
And a special call out also to Vanessa at the front desk for being a great help with a cheerful smile. She is your lady to help navigate the city, specially if you are a first-timer.
