I moved to madrid in 2004 and mt work put me up here for 2 weeks while I found a home. We kinda just send everyone there and I have no idea why. Service is unremarkable, the location good not great, the hotel is shabby, the rooms large (especially for Europe) but bland, dining not even pasable, and all of this is at an average, not outsatnding price. Its the epitome of whats boring and wrong in hotels, not a single distinguishing factor. For the price and in the area (or a nicer area!) you can do much, much better.
