The location was great. The flat was comfortable, clean and well maintained. I can't recommend it enough. Great location and great accommodations.

“Great Apartment”

Very clean, comfortable, well located apartment. Modern bathrooms, looks just like the listing site photos.
Suggest the owner install some shades or room darkener in the bedroom facing the clock tower which is brightly lit at night.
Also, a decent sized coffee maker and a few filters (hard to find in Madrid) would be good.
Great apartment, would recommend to friends and family.

“Beautiful Apartment in Central Location”
Reviewed April 13, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This apartment is right on one of the main squares in Madrid, making it easily walkable to all of the tourist spots. It is bright and airy, with the living room doors overlooking Puerta del Sol. The description and pictures are accurate. Our family enjoyed our stay. There are only two downsides: first, it can be VERY noisy at night due to the square (until 6am), and second, the kitchen does not contain any spices. So if you want to cook, you will have to purchase salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. Otherwise, it was great.

“Great view, absolutely beautiful apartment”
Reviewed January 20, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

I have traveled all over Europe and used HomeAway almost every time I've traveled. This apartment is the very best accommodation of any I've seen. The apartment is absolutely beautiful. The furnishings are modern and high quality. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are of spectacular quality. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need. And the view is remarkable, and thanks to the dual-paned windows, you can't hear any noise below. Enrique and his property manager, Daniel, could not have been any nicer or more friendly - even helping me to find post office to ship a package, and a barber/salon to get a hair cut. Truly personalized service. I recommend this apartment fully. You will not be disappointed.

“Must be the best aparment in Madrid”

Three friends for a long weekend in Madrid. This was our second stay at the Puerta del Sol apartment, it is lovely. 3 bedrooms, two shower rooms, kitchen and dining area. Wifi, tv, everything you require to make your stay pleasant. Well maintained and so clean. Daniel was so charming and very helpful. Would I stay there again, in a heartbeat. The location is excellent, central Madrid, plenty to do for my age group (50+). It can be noisy but that didn't bother us, but if you close the windows you don't hear anything. Apartment has air conditioning so no problems. If you are looking for a good Flamenco go to Cafe de Chinta - walking distance from the apartment also the Santa Ana Square is good for bars and restaurants. Thanks Daniel and good holiday.
