The hotel is well located which means it is easy to walk almost everywhere. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is a c. 3 minute walk away. Rooms, for a city centre hotel, were quite large with a decent size bathroom. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were really helpful - gave good recommendations and were happy to book taxi's and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Dear guest,

Thank you to spend part of your time to write about our hotel, we appreciate it.

Close by the hotel you will find all the main attractions of the city. If you want to make a quick site sightseeing the hop on hop off bus is the best option. The price is 17€ per person and you can enjoy it all the day from 10 to 22hours.

If you were satisfies with the hotel and you will come back in your next trip to Madrid, for us this is the best recommendation for our next visitors. Thank you.

Best regards

Stayed for 3 nights in May 2012. Booked the hotel following recommendations from other Trip Advisor users, and wasn’t disappointed.
Great location – within walking distance of just about everywhere, and perfect for the back streets of Chueca. Surrounded by good restaurants, bars and shops. Tip #1: if you’re travelling from the airport, the airport bus (every 15 minutes during the day, every 35 minutes at night) stops at Cibelles Square, less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And it’s only 5 Euros per person.
Tip #2: request a top floor, corner room, and upgrade to a superior. The rooms are much larger, and the corner rooms are even bigger. Excellent sized room, well-appointed and spacious bathroom, all perfectly clean. No problems with street noise as other reviewers have commented, but this is a city centre hotel.
Tip #3: we hadn’t booked breakfast with the reservation (mainly because of the price), but the hotel was giving out breakfast vouchers for 9 Euros per person. And a good breakfast it was. Not needed every morning – especially as Madrid is notorious for its late night eating, but welcome on the first morning after arrival.
The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever come across – first class!

Room Tip: Upgade to a superior - worth the extra money. Ask for a top floor, corner room. We had 408, which was great - little juliet balcony off the bedroom and the bathroom!

Dear guest,

We are extremely happy of your remark about the hotel and we want to thank you to you. Remarks like yours encourage us to work hard each day.

We also recommend to all the travelers use the express bus to the airport. It is a very good service, it costs only 5€ and in 40 minutes you are at the airport. It is fast, cheap and it works very well.

We invite to the entire guest to write their preferences on remarks when they make the reservation. From the front desk we work to satisfies it. We also recommend the superior rooms. It costs around 26€ more than the standard but it worth’s. The hotel area is a very quiet place, knowing that we are on the heart of the city.

The feed back that we received about our breakfast is very satisfactory, but we are always open mind to the guest suggestions. The price of our breakfast is 12€ but sometimes we send offers at 9€.

Thank you for your nice words about our staff. Your remarks are welcome and even more coming from a senior traveler of tripadvisor.

Best regards

Just back from a short break to celebrate my birthday. Husband booked (very unusual) and this was an excellent choice. Location was perfect for us. Only used metro to go to San Bernabou stadium, walked everywhere else.Room was not big but adequate and bathroom was good. We chose to have breakfast in hotel and there was a good selection. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would go back and recommend.

I stayed at this hotel last year, and it couldn't have been better. This year, however, the room was much smaller, the window was broken, the internet worked intermittently, and the bathroom seemed like it had not been cleaned as thoroughly. Having said all of that, the room was a great deal...something like $93 USD. Last year the room I stayed in was a corner room and was literally 3x the size of the room I had this year with three balconies. I also think for a four star hotel the sheets could be a little less rough. The gentleman working at the front desk was exceedingly helpful and friendly. He was actually the best part of my stay. He went out of his way to help me with anything I needed.

I would stay at this hotel again. The location is excellent, and it's a good value. Just be sure to ask for a larger room if possible.

Room Tip: Inside rooms are going to be more quiet. The corner rooms are by far the largest...almost three times the size of the internal rooms.

Dear guest,

Thank you for take your time to share your opinion about our hotel with all the travellers of Tripadvisor.

The hotel has two types of rooms, standards and superiors. The standard room has from 19 up to 25 square meters, and the superior has from 28 up to 35 square meters. This size are bigger than the normal rooms of other four star hotels in Madrid center. In your first stay here I suppose that we gave you an up grade, but this is not possible anytime. If you prefer a bigger room you can reserve directly the superior room, in price there is not too much difference and it worth.

We recommend to all the guest that when they make the reservation in our hotel write all their preferences on remarks, we always work to try to satisfies it.

These days we have contracted with a new internet provider to grow up the speed of our guest internet access. All the problems are now solved.

I hope to see you soon in the hotel

Best regards

El hotel is close to the main attractions but not in the best area, just behind the hotel is an area full of bars with not too good reputation. The hotel and rooms are clean, nice and big room, the staff andrade very good and they know their job.

Dear guest,

Thank you for the rating you have given to the hotel, we appreciate it.

The hotel is located in Chueca district, one of the most popular areas in the centre of our city. This neighbourhood is full of bars, restaurants, art galleries, shopping areas, etc… and they have a very good reputation as all the travellers can read in Tripadvisor. We are sorry that you didn’t like the area.

Thank you for the nice remarks you make about the hotel staff, we work every day to make a pleasure stay for our guests.

Best regards
