Very impressed with my stay here for a 24 hour stop in Madrid. On arrival was met by incredibly friendly receptionist by the name of Xavi, was offered complimentary Champagne whilst checked in, great first impression.
The hotel itself was immaculate and well designed, but certainly has some character about it.
The rooms itself although small is well equipped, a few negative points however would be: only a couple of English speaking channels on the TV (all news), the colour of the walls (dark red) makes the room very dark and finally the bed has a gap down the middle of it, as if two single beds have been pushed together to create a double, but in the grand scheme of things these are minor points on an overall great hotel. Rooms also have a small balcony, and free WiFi is available throughout, although it is very slow.
The hotel is well located, and a short walk from the Recolestos train station, although it is a tad hard to find.
Room service is also reasonably priced and good quality food.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.More
