I used to go to Triciclo often a few years ago but was very disappointed when I was presented with a bill overcharging us for 30 euros a year ago- they apologised for their mistake, as they were charging us for food we had not ordered, and they corrected the bill accordingly. I wondered back then whether they had made this ´mistake´ because we were English-speaking tourists, but I decided to give the restaurant another chance this weekend when we had work colleagues visiting. I was bitterly disappointed this time because they again overcharged us by 20 euros. Since we were with colleagues visiting from another country, we did not want to start an argument so we paid and left. We will never be back there. You can give people the benefit of the doubt once, but when they make mistakes with the bill twice and on those 2 occasions you have been with English-speaking friends-colleagues, you wonder whether they are trying to take advantage of non-Spanish customers. The service was slow. they kept offering us bread which was quite dry, and the portions were ridiculously tiny for the price they charge. The issue with this restaurant is that most of their dishes come in 3 sizes: a third, a half and a full dish. We orded 2 full dishes, 2 1/2 dishes and 2 1/3 dishes. We were charged 2 full dishes and 4 1/2 dishes. The difference in price was notable: 20 euros. Sorry, but if you cannot get your act together and are charging 18 euros for a mouthful of (admittedly delicious) food, you need to consider changing your pricing policy. We will not go back to this restaurant. There are better options out there which operate more honestly with diners.
