Stop by at the end of a long day for a few pinchos and a glass of wine or beer. You will be made to feel at home and the proprietor Carlos will make you feel like a member of the family. Simple and humble surroundings, home style cooking with zero pretentiousness. Come here to relax and chat with other patrons or make new friends.

We went here based off tripadvisor recos and it was great. They took care of us like family and the food was fantastic. We are going back when we are in Madrid again

The place is small and off the beaten path, but the food was amongst the best we'd experienced during our trip. The feel is genuine Madrid and the tapas simply delectable. Owner Carlos prepares dishes indigenous to various regions of the country including a special preparation from his grandmothers kitchen that was out of this world. If you come in with an open mind not expecting anything too fancy you'll leave most pleasantly surprised with a full belly, a dancing tongue and a wallet nearly as full as when you arrived. Most highly recommended!

La Carboneria is an Andalucian place in Madrid. If you enjoy good Flamenco music and dancing. Noisy and cheerful ambiance with a decor full of memorabilia from bullfighting and Andalucian themes. Staff pushes for the ambiance. Good tapas and wines. A bit too touristic but a nice stop.
