Modern building with spacious suites. The amenities are all there, pool, modern and complete gym, spa and restaurant. Front desk was friendly, efficient and helpful. Reasonably priced.
Problems I had with the hotel was it's very far from central Madrid where all the sites were, It's a good 40min taxi ride away. The hotel is located clise to the metro and buses, they too are 40min to 1hr away from central Madrid. As I noted earlier, there is a restaurant in the the lobby, though it's very expensive. There is only 1 other restaurant nearby. For a modern hotel the water pressure was horrible. If someone were to flush the toilet, the water flow at the sink or shower would be reduced to a trickle. Maybe because we were on the 8th floor? Regardless, a modern hotel should not have this issue.
Would I stay here on a business trip, yes. Would I recommend it for a vacation? Probably not, i commute to work, I don't need to commute to see the sites and to eat. If you are catching a flight or train, give yourself a 1hr buffer to get there.
I took away 1 star for the water pressure and cannot fault the hotel for its location, as I picked it not knowing it was that far from everything.More
