It's a large garden with lots of greenery, pathways, benches to rest and a free public toilet that was super clean. It's adjacent to the Royal palace.

We visited after spending 2 hours looking around the Royal Palace. A really tranquil spot, we sat in the shade on a bench under a tree and people watched for an hour or so!

Campo del Moro is a lovely area for a walk and some relaxation. It is next to the Palacio Real de Madrid and you will need to find the only open gate to access the entrance into the gardens. Once inside you find yourself in a paradise-like environment. The landscaped gardens are beautiful with a large range of plants and lovely flowers, as well as trees and various bushes. There are other features such as a number of sculptures. Worth a visit.

Huge, quiet garden that you can see from the palace but to enter, you must walk around the perimeter and find the sole entrance/exit. We were greeted by a calico cat as we walked into the free area.

The park is on the other side of the Royal Palace. It has stunning views onto the palace. The best part about this park is that it is very quiet. Lots of shady pathways to take and good photo opportunities.
