I saw "Frankenstein, the Musical" here on August 3rd. Tickets were purchased at the big department store off of Plaza del Sol, and they were running a promotion that evening. Tickets were very cheap for the performance I saw.
The theatre was very kept in great condition with lots of red and gold. Seats were great, second row center of the first balcony (from the layout map, we thought we would be in the first row), house was not filled to capacity, but the performance was very intense, great lighting and performances, maximum use of minimal scenery. Everything worked together to make a powerful and magical evening of theatre.
We were surprised to find that Spanish theatres sold popcorn and drinks, even alcoholic ones, to take into the beautiful theatre. You can only do that in some movie theatres in America.
