Owner description: Take a drive over a course that takes you past African animals roaming the park. There's also an aviary, a reptile house, paddle boats, a giant slide, and go-carts.

The park has lots of interesting animals who will obligingly run after your car and nibble carrots passed through the window. But it is an utterly bleak setting for the animals themselves, mainly a huge open space with grim concrete structures and something the Madrid provincial government should be ashamed of. Skip it and go to Madrid's much nicer zoo instead.

Our experience at the Safari was excellent. We drove from Madrid about an hour to the middle of nowhere to find this place. At the front gate where you buy the tickets you are able to purchase carrots to feed the animals. Our family of 5 got two bags, inexpensive. Started driving thru as all the animals started approaching, mainly Llamas, ostrish. You see a little of everything. Our favorite were the zebras. Be ware of the Buffalos, they can hit your car if they are on the road like they were when we drove by.
After we were done with the Safari we stopped at the pit were they have goats and pigs fenced in. When they see you come in with food they will jump on you. After 2 more bags of carrots, we headed to the giant slide with the boys. Safari Madrid also has a cart race track, I forget the price, but not expensive. The Safari also has a reptile zone with Iguanas, snakes, turtles and more. Overall it was fun, many things to do and it took probably 3 to 4 hours max.
