I walked to the top with high expectations. Views are good but there was no water in ponds. I love that many parks, gardes, monuments and tourist spots are undergoing upgrades etc.
Gardens are good but not outstanding.
Recommend waiting until repairs are complete.

Cool looking art work, worth seeing but skip the actual visit. People are only let small groups at the time. Security personnel acts very unfriendly and arrogant.
You can walk around the temple without having to queue.

The temple of Debod is an Egyptian structure that has been maintained in great condition and is a wonder to observe. The place is a very calm park with the temple in it. The temple is very beautiful during the day but also at night time. Great ambiance and there are some really great coffee shops around the temple that you can visit.

Fantastic monument. But my initial thought was why move a piece of your history to another place as a thank you to a country that helped you out.

I was unaware that there would be a small museum dedicated to the temple within the temple itself, which made for a pleasant surprise being granted access to such a monument.

The capacity of the museum is very small making queuing essential.

At the time of my visit, the water was not there which would have been preferential but understandable in the heat.
