“Most delicious coffee”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

This is a cozy quite coffee shop located about 25 minutes from the center. It is so cute inside with all the snacks on display and little chairs and benches as seats. We had the mocha and cafe con leche with 2 snacks all for 5 euro. The coffee was so delicious it was unbelievable. It is really all about the coffee here nothing flashy just fantastic coffee . Staff spoked perfect English along with Spanish . This is a good place to have a date, hangout with friends or stop in solo

“Small cafe. Cozy atmosphere. Bicycle theme. Great coffee!”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

I hesitate to write about this café because I like it a lot and want to be able to return. The reason I say this is because it is so small it only seats about ten people and if the word gets out it will be impossible to go there. It's already popular with a steady stream of customers having a coffee there and for take away. The service is great and the coffee the best I've had in Madrid. It has a cozy atmosphere...so small that there's no privacy. I wouldn't recommend it for intimate conversations. The place is decorated with a bicycle theme, although I'm not really sure what the connection is. They have tasty little cakes to snack on. My only critique would be that the cake portions are very small, especially taking into consideration they charge €2.50-€3.00 each. But don't go here or you'll ruin it for me! haha

“Best Coffee in Madrid”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

The coffee I had at Toma was easily the best I've had in Madrid. This place is a hidden gem--amazing coffee and delicious snacks, but not overpriced. An ordinary café con leche was around 1 euro, and I had a grande café con leche for 2 euro. The workers speak English and Spanish and were friendly and helpful.

One downside: their space is pretty small, and it can be hard to find a seat. Also, as of now they don't have wifi. So if you're looking for a place to sit and study for a while, this probably isn't the best place. But, because space was limited, I ended up meeting and spending a few hours with the wonderful folks sitting next to me. Overall, great experience and I will definitely return.

“Best Coffee in Madrid”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

I'm a coffee enthusiast and I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking to have a good quality coffee. Here it's all about coffee culture and paying attention to detail when it comes to serve you the perfect cup. The fact that is so small inside is frustrating sometimes, specially when the place is busy, you feel like seating and enjoying your coffee, but there's no seats available. Besides that, it's just perfect.

“A hidden gem for coffee lovers!”
Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

My Toma Cafe experience: superior coffee from an excellent barrista with homemade (!!!) treats (had the carrot cake and two cookies).
Dear Tripadvisor User: please please !!! Ignore the ignorant two bad reviews this place got! It clearly states: they are a COFFEE place, not a freaking restaurant!
So if you love coffee and enjoy the real experience this hidden gem is THE place to go! I'll be there again tomorrow! YUM
