Just returned from an amazing trip. Hotel is in great location to the city centre, about 10-15 minute walk. Very easy to get around. The metro station is also just across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! Spotlessly clean. The only thing I would say is that the walls are paper thin!.. could literally hear EVERYTHING *ahem.. I’m usually a heavy sleeper but even I woke up! Hearing the activities from the room above and even walking around upstairs, to someone coughing in the next room!.. take some earplugs just incase! Otherwise a great stay!

We had a 4 day city break in January 2020 and stayed at this hotel on a room and bed breakfast basis. The hotel is a great location for sight seeing and we managed to walk to all our planned itinerary. The hotel as all the facilities you need and the buffet breakfast is of a high quality. The only issue we had was there was not a single english speaking entertainment channel on the TV. The reception staff were very friendly and helful and the room was cleaned to a high standard every day.

Many thanks for your extraordinary review and your score of 5/5, we are very glad you enjoyed so much your stay with us. We have speaking channels on the TV, but you are right there are only news channels, this is an improvement we can consider, so we much appreciate your constructive feedback. Best regards. Mercedes - Customer Service.

I recently had a five night stay here at the Puerta de Toledo hotel in Madrid. I arrived late in the evening at the hotel from the airport via the Cercanías to Piramides station, where the hotel was a five minute walk away.
Check in was a breeze from the friendly receptionist and I was given a keycard to my room up on the 6th floor. I was in a double room, which was of a decent size. I was staying on a room only basis, but the hotel did offer breakfast.
I had a room with an inward view onto a small courtyard, the decor was tasteful with modern furnishings. The bed had a firm but comfortable mattress and the room was cleaned daily.
Overall I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and would certainly stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights during Christmas and were really impressed, we booked on a whim with little research so were a little apprehensive. Getting to the hotel was simple via the metro, it involves 3 changes but very simple to follow and cost 6 Euro each so well worth it! Metro station is literally opposite the hotel, so location wise is great!

Check in was fast and easy, all staff we met during our stay were pleasant and helpful. Room was on the small side but fine as we were hardly there. Beds were comfortable and a good size. Room included standard amenities; Shampoo, Shower Gel, Towels, Fridge etc. Shame we didn't have a kettle but was not the end of the world.

We walked everywhere during our stay and we able to walk to the main square in just under 15 minutes so we were pleased with the location.

We didn't have breakfast included in our stay so cannot comment.

Check out was simple and fast. Recommended hotel, not a fancy stay but that was not needed as we were only in the room for the bare minimum.

Many thanks for your kind comments, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. For a next stay check for availability in a superior room or junior suite, as these rooms are equipped with a coffee machine Nespresso style that also works as a kettle. Best regards. Mercedes - Customer Service.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my mum & sister on our annual city break. Hotel is very clean & a great location. 15/20 minute straight walk into the centre (that’s at a average pace - we aren’t fast walkers) hotel staff are super friendly & so helpful. Metro station is just over the road so we got a tube from the airport which was very easy to do & super cheap! Taxi is only €30 if you prefer to or from the airport. If I visit Madrid again I would definitely return to this hotel!
