“Very good hotel!”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

Reservation was made thru internet - and based on some reviews. It´s a nice place to stay, close to many shops, restaurants, cafes and most of all - its located just one block from Gran Via - (where life happens in Madrid). Easy access to Metro ( Noviciado stop) and walking distance to cinemas, theatres and good stores. It´s about 25 minutes from Barajas Intl Airport (by taxi).

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free Wi-Fi is a must. Breakfast has just a few items, but is Ok.

I recommend and would stay there next time I´m in Madrid.

Room Tip: Best rooms are located on the 6th floor (601 - 602 - 603) as they have a nice terrace.

I stayed in this hotel in February 2013, and I loved it. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Free WiFi is great advantage. The location is also great. It is near the Gran Via street and metro station is very close to the hotel. Staff is friendly and they will helped us with everything we needed. Price is reasonable.
The only bad thing about this hotel is breakfast. They serve meet (pork) and cheese together and if you do not eat pork, you will have only sweets for breakfast.

My husband, myself and Daughter(age 17) stayed at the Hotel Sterling 28th Oct-1st Nov. I was pleased to get a reasonably priced hotel, with a triple room, in a good location. The Hotel is very handy for getting around, the staff are very friendly and the rooms clean. If you want 5 star luxury then of course you are going to have to pay more. I agree with other reviews that the braekfast didn't have much choice, but again for the price it was fine.
Madrid is a great city, we enjoyed it much more than Barcelona, it is safer and much easier to get around.
We used the City Bus tour which was great to get orientated, we used the metro to the Bernabau, that was really easy, and we walked!
We were there for Halloween which was fun, a big effort made by all the businesses.
Would Definitely visit again.

Room Tip: We were in Room 314, not much out look but nice & quiet.

Well situated central madrid hotel. Close to the metro and walkable to most of the sites. Very clean and very quiet at night. Breakfast is ok but it's included in the price. A 24/7 convenience store next door comes in handy.

Very good hotel, clean, modern, you have to choose high floor to be away from noise at night, the advantage point is the location in Gran Via, very close to everything.
employees with no English is a weak point.didnt like breakfast, better yoy choose Bed only base and have your BF outside, cheaper and better.
over all i choose it for my next visit.

Room Tip: high floor, modern room
