Pretty good hotel, located in Plaza de Castilla. There are no interesting attractions near from the hotel but the metro is just 20/30 metres far from the entrance and there are only 15/20 minutes by metro from central Madrid (direct line). Rooms are modern and comfortable, and I consider the standard is pretty good. Wifi is free. Definitely a good option to visit the city.

This hotel is only 20 minutes walk to the Real Madrid Stadium or two merto stops.20 minutes by metro from the Airport and 20 minutes from central Madrid. We booked a htee day weekend rate for 99euro per room including breakfast The only down side it is next to a Mcdonald but do not let that put you off.No problem in getting tickets for match days the 60 euro gives a great view with the Madrid fans

Room Tip: Higher floors give good city views

positives: spacious and comfortable rooms, very convenient for metro and business district. excellent breakfast buffet.

negatives: a little tired in places. gym was closed during my stay and no alternative was offered. wifi pretty slow, ok for emails but not much else. tv was chaotic with no guide to channels and what seemed to be the same 7 or 8 stations in random order across the channels. no English language channels. a few mediocre bars nearby but nothing of interest in walking distance.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights for a short business trip. The hotel is nice, with spacious rooms, good desk to do some work, free WIFI, decent breakfast,... There were quite some extras in the hotel room (tooth brush,...), which proved very handy as my luggage was one day late... The metro was right next door.

Service was also very friendly.

This is hote is by far the best option in this area. There some others good 4 and 5 stars hotel in the area but this is undoubtedly the best hotel with very goods prices if travelling on weekends ( this is a bussines are so rooms are more expensive on weekdays ).
It is 100 m. from the Metro station Puerta de Castilla, a great transport hub in Madrid, with quick links to the airport ( 20 minutes ) and to the most historical part of Madrid ( 15 minutes ). We use this hotel on a stopover before a long haul flight because of its great and easy transport connections, but if you´re visiting historical places you may prefer some hotel in the real historic center.
The rooms are great: modern, ultraclean and with the ammenities you expect from top hotels.
There is also a free wi-fi and for short Internet checkings ( browse the mail, ... ) if you don´t have a computer you can ask the recepcionist and he will kindly let you check Internet in one of te reecption computers.
On the overall I pleasant and surprisingly good experience. I have already repeated in this hotel and again will do it in the future. A good and solid choice for short stays in the Madrid!

I enjoyed the hotel we got it at a good price and we only wanted it for a place to sleep, the room was clean and well cared for,all the things you would expect in a 4 star Hotel. We went on the 5th December 2011 and the weather was brill not a cloud in the sky for 5 days.Plenty of places to eat around the hotel for breakfast and a chinese around the back of the hotel, cross the crossing to your right and there more places and corner stores for milk etc.The best thing about the hotel is where it is situated for the subway very easy to go anywhere you want, even Toledo VIA THE BUS STN easy to get to and plenty of buses.Go up the escalators and keep an eye out where to buy your bus ticket keep your wits about you or you will miss it.You need this first then they will tell you were to go, you never go outside for the bus terminal so it must sit above but within the same area of ground of the subway. We never eat in any hotel unless its the last resort.IF WE WENT BACK TO MADRID YOU BET WE WOULD STAY HERE
excellent bed and a great bathroom we had to inter connecting rooms because we took our friends with us and we all enjoyed it totally and the palace was fab to boot and so was Toledo.

Room Tip: If going to the Palace TAKE YOUR PASSPORT WITH YOU or drivers licence its a lot cheaper or even free...
