Awesome place to get lost in your gastronomic adventure! They pretty much have everything - tapas, paellas, wines, desserts, fruits, churros, and a lot of others that look really good.

Some tips:
1. Come in early. We came in at around 11:00 a.m. and we managed to get good seats, scout for food, and enjoy our bounty. When we returned at 4:00 p.m. for another round, it was so packed with people that you can hardly go around anymore.

2. Bring change so it's easy to get your pintxos and tapas.

3. Watch out for your stuff. There may be some pickpockets lurking around.

Wonderful atmosphere and food. You have to try the 10 cheeses with a glass of vino. Everyone friendly and helpful. Loved it.

it's like a collection of stalls with tapas. The first time i walked in it felt like i was at an exhibition. Its definately a place to try tapas, with various stall that specialise in different products. Stands that only sell olives or paella. Even if you do not sample the food, it's amazing to walk through and see.

Combine your visit to the Gran Vía and the Plaza Mayor with a visit to this little market. Offering gourmet-style tapas from anywhere between one euro for an olive/anchovy pincho up to twelve euros for a grilled squid! Not your average tapas.

It is not a large market, so don't expect to be wondering around for hours, but also don't expect the usual slabs of meat or your weekly fruit & veg. But do expect something to tingle the tastebuds for meat eaters, fish lovers and veggies alike. It can seem a bit touristy but there is a good reason for this.

The food is so well presented that you cannot resist getting your camera out before your first bite. Great buzz, great atmosphere. Not to be missed.

After a long day and a very disappointing hotel, we went down here with a few colleagues in search of authentic culinary Spain. And that is what we got. Wonderful tapas of all sorts which you pick up at the various stalls in the covered market. There's a few wine bars to pick up a glass of wine that you carry with you on your discovery through the market. All of this was great quality for very reasonable prices. Nice mix of locals and tourists.
