We arrived earlier than our 10pm slot as we were under the impression from previous reviews it was hard to find (which it is not) they did however seat us regardless. Lovely atmosphere. Very helpful waiting staff, very attentive with in depth description of every course. Food was to die for, best food we have eaten in a long time!! Presentation was top notch, well deserved of a Michelin star!! Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Had lunch with my wife Sunday 28. We had the Cecina (cured veal) and cheese selection with fruit/nuts, both excellent - and the house croquettes, de-li-cious. I had the tartare steak next, with a few droplets of the Bistro's spicy oil... wonderful, and she got the small burgers, cooked rare, which were totally yummy.

Drank non-filtered Pilsner Urquell, that along with all other explanations was introduced by the waitress as recently added to the place's drinks. I already like Pils, and enjoyed the beer as well.
And to top it off, they have espresso. I mean, real Illy Italian espresso. Additional bonus points for that.

Strongly recommended.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the other excellent reviews here, perhaps I was expecting too much.

The restaurant has very little atmosphere and is some where between a brasserie and a cafeteria and it certainly doesn't seem very Spanish. The food was good, but not extaordinary however it was very well presented and reasonably priced. The service was good and the staff speak good English and were helpful with the menu.

Other than that there isn't much to say about the place.

The food & service was EXCELLENT. For starter terrina de foie-gras, main, presa de cerdo Iberic, (sweet & sour pork) dessert canelon de pina, washed down with a Te Mata State white wine. If you are in Madrid the restaurant is a must try. The staff are all very helpful, thank you all for a lovely evening.

Ended up in the vicinity of this restaurant near to lunchtime because the teleferico up to the zoo is only running at the weekends in October. Went into the restaurant early (just as they were setting up and taking deliveries) but they were more than happy to accept us and our two young kids.

Following a complimentary Bloody Mary, the breads and olive oils they brought to our table were great. We had a couple of starters (we had hummus, kids had tapas mini burger) and then as a main I had squid stuffed with parma ham on a bed of black rice and my wife had a guinea fowl based dish and both were explained in detail by the very pleasant and enthusiastic waiter.

Following this we had a couple of really nice desserts - one a soft creamy cheesecake type concoction served in a glass, the other an apple pie with ice cream with green tea and we followed this with a couple of coffees.

With 2 glasses of wine, came to less than €70 which I though was very reasonable for the quality of food on offer.
