I stayed at this hotel for a week while I was working in the area. The hotel was very well located for my purposes. There are also 2 metro stations in the vicinity, which makes it easy to get into the centre of Madrid. A taxi to the centre costs less than 20 €. There is an airport shuttle for just 9 €, and a free shuttle to large companies within a 3 kilometre radius of the hotel.
The reception was friendly and helpful.
My room was very pleasant, clean and comfortable. It had a decent size, with a desk and couch. There was a complimentary tea and coffee making facility, which I really appreciated. There was a TV, but the only English channels were the big news channels. Movies were a paid service.
The bathroom was also decent-sized, clean and well-lit, with ample clean towels. There was a hair-dryer installed in the bathroom.
In the evenings I ate in the hotel restaurant. The food there was not great. A couple of dishes that I ordered did not taste the way they should. The crema Calatana, for example, was a big disappointment. The wine was decent, though, and restaurant staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was not included in the room rate, and I found it expensive for what it consisted of, especially if you are not a fan of heavy, fried foods first thing in the morning.More
