“The most expensive beer I have had in Spain”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2012

On a recent visit to Madrid we decided to eat in this restaurant, the food was average as was the service however when we got the bill we noticed that the 2 "Jarras" (pints) of beer were €13.00 where we were normally paying €9 for 2 and in much grander restaurants. We did question the price but were told that that was in order, the price of a Jarra was not on the price list as were the other measure of beers. We live in Spain and we normally pay around €3.50 per pint or Jarra so you can image how surprised we were at this exorbitant price. There are other better restaurants in the very close vicinity so I would suggest trying any of them first.

“Bad service, poor food. Don't bother.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2011

I went here together with my girlfriend after arriving to Madrid. We just decided to give it a go because It was on a way to our hotel and we Did not expect much. Amazingly the place still managed to disappoint: expensive, poor food and really bad service. The place had a soul of your average McDonalds with prices of gourmet restaurant. You are likely to get better food at a random gasoline station where you will also get better service.
