“Great long wekend in Madrid”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

Brilliant hotel. Friendly patient and helpful staff in all departments; reception, restaurant and housekeeping. Modern, clean and comfortable.
Well situated alongside the recently beautifully regenerated Manzanares riverside. Close to old city centre. Bus service every 20 minutes from next to hotel directly to Sol in centre of town, plus taxi service on hand - 15 minutes and in the midst of all the action.
Went on a package deal, very reasonable particularly for Madrid but suspect more people will find this gem and prices will rise so make a visit sooner rather than later.

Room Tip: Ask for riverside views.

This is a very modern hotel, not far from the center of Madrid, but poorly serviced by public transport. The location is very good if you plan to use the car: easy access to M30, and city center.
The rooms are quite small but wel furnished, bedding is also ok, but pillows are very poor.
The morning breakfast has a large variety of good quality food.

The terrace is good location for a drink or some tapas late in the afternoon.

The hotel lacks amenities for a 4 star : no bell-boy or concierge.

Ended a two week adventure with the final two nights here
Nice room, very clean, great shower, free WiFi, nice location by the river.
Had dinner just up the street outside.
Nice place to walk by the river.
No complaints and I would stay again.

This was our second hotel on our EF Tour. This was probably the best hotel I have stayed at on a tour. The rooms were large and spacious with comfortable beds. Some in the group had trouble turing the lights on because you have to insert your key card into a slot by the door, very similar to cruise ships. The river walk area across the street was beautiful.

Our group would walk up and down, play on the ropes course and sit on the wall and watch the runners, bicyclists and walkers pass by, and this was all between 10-12 at night. There is a nice little cafe across the footbridge that serves burgers, drinks and icecream.

Breakfast at the hotel was good. Lots of different options to choose from like meats, cereal and breads. The rooms are very quiet and the bathrooms are large.

The bus stop is in front of the hotel. The buses in Madrid have free Wi-Fi too!
The metro stop is about a 10-15 minute walk toward the Futball Stadium where Atletico plays.

I could ask for a better hotel and if you are on an EF Tour I hope you get to stay in this wonderfill hote.

I stayed here in October to join my partner whilst he was away with work for several days. It was a clean, modern hotel, not too far away from the metro and other things, but not 'very' central. Bit challenging to find places to eat on a Sunday! There is a very friendly tapas bar if you turn left as you come out of the hotel and walk for about 2 minutes. I would recommend this hotel for business purposes, or as a 'good' travel base, but not for anything too romantic! You can enjoy a nice walk along the river.

This hotel certainly lives up to the NH reputation as a hotel of good value and quality. The rooms are clean and spacious, free wifi (essential for any successful trip nowadays) and excellent service. Staff at reception were very honest and helpful, the restaurant serves a small but tasty lunch and dinner menu (not too pricey) and plentiful breakfast buffet. Located in a very peaceful and family orientated area with nice views and easy access into the center via taxi, bus or metro. My standards are quite high and that is the only reason why I did not rate it as excellent, as I have stayed in better 4* hotels. However, am planning a trip back to Madrid later on this year and would definitely book this hotel again.

All I have to say about this Hotel is good and in short: Since Ipassed the main door I felt at home. First of all the staff at the reception. They wer so kind and nice. Secondly, after ten minutes in the room, I realised that I felt at home. Room perfectly clean with new furniture. suddenly, I was enjoying the fee wifi and the TV resting in the bed and it was a great moment. Also de price was great.
I recommend this hotel to all of you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with Manzanares river views.
