“Watch out for their open hours”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012 via mobile

My wife was craving for somen asian food after a few days of tspas, jamon and paella. She did some research in this site and was looking forward to visiting this Thai restaurant.

We reached there around 1pm. But it was not open yet. The notice outside the shop does say lunch is open between 12:00 - 16:00.. Not sure whether it's because of being in winter time.

Anyway, we waited until 13:30. They were finally open.

Foodwise it was not bad. Not authentic authentic, but good enough while we are in Spain. I think the "menu of the day" is a good deal. You can select 1 starter + 1 main out of 3 choices each, for around €12. We shared the menu of the day, added another starter, a tong yum soup (my wife loves it), a drink and 2 beers. It came up to €45. Not bad.

“Good value for money and more importantly, good food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

It can be quite hard to find spicy food in Spain, but this place is a good balance for those who like a little heat in their food, and those who can't really deal with it. I came here with a large group of friends and he menu catered for all tastes in the group.

The food a quite typical, e.g. green curry, pad thai, spring rolls.

The staff are very friendly and speak English, Spanish and Thai.

I have been here twice now and will definitely return.

“cosy place, good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2012

definitely can recommend this, have not tried other Thai places in Madrid but have tried more than enough sub-standard Thai places in Spain, and enough poor Asian places in Madrid to know that this place is good. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was.

The satay was not exactly like what you get in Asia (I would say impossible to do properly without access to fresh ingredients and a charcoal grill) but it was pretty close to the real thing and the Pad thai was good too. Also the dishes are not as spicy as the original, which is a good thing i would guess for most palates!

Small but cosy place, friendly staff, good if you miss Thai food and have an open mind not expecting exactly what you would find in Thailand, but i think they did really well.

“My favorite Thai place in Madrid so far!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2012

Just came back from a Friday lunch at Pui's Thai and loved it. It was a little expensive but we ordered the Tom Yam soup, diced chicken salad, Pad Thai and green curry. Plus a Singha beer and it added up to €50. However, it was worth every penny because the food was DELICIOUS! Try it, you'll love it.
