I was here with children between 10 and 11, we rented bikes in the entrance of the park and we sent to most of the main places inside the park for around 1 hour .

It was one of the Best things we did in madrid . The children were very happy with the biking and the park itself.

Absolutely recommended to visit in a trip to madrid by Walking or biking.

By walking probably you Will need more than 2 hours

It opens at 6am and closed around 10pm or midnight depending on the season. Great to have some nature in the center of Madrid

Parque del Retiro is an oasis full of lush greenery, various POIs (points of interests), and peacocks. The magic of the park lies in its varied and vast grounds full of buskers, tourists and locals alike. Music carries throughout various areas of the park and the monuments are awe inspiring.

The Retiro Parc is one of many places to visit while in Madrid. It is a wonderful destination for a relaxing walk as well as a tourist attraction on its own. You may want to ensure you do not miss the Estanque Grande del Retiro (an ellegant semicircular terrace surrounded by colonades), the Palacio de Velazquez and the Palacio del Cristal, the Alcachofa Fountain and quite a few other statues and monuments scattered throughout the alleys and beautifully landscaped grounds.

The center of the park in Madrid and a great place to see entertaining acts and grab a snack from one of the vendors. Right in front of the man made lake.
