“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

I walked through this park a few times during my three-day stay in Madrid. It reminds me of Central Park, in New York City, and has a charming lake in its center. You can rent rowboats, walk its perimeter, or amble along the various pathways through the woods. There are nice fountains, statues, and architectural monuments throughout the park, as well as a crystal palace. It's a great place to see and take a stroll. If you're into that, don't miss it.

“Great park in the center of Madrid”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

I love the park in Autum. You can see all the yellows and browns, and spend a really good time either walking or practising any sport. It is one of my favourite places in Madrid!!

“Big nice park”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

because of the little time I had, the park couldn't be fully visited. But what I have seen, beside the immigrants trying to sell staff at the pond, everything else was beautiful (the lone paths and retired seating banks). The weather played a major role as well, having a superb day in November with 18C temperature around afternoon. To mention, that this is the second biggest park in Madrid (the biggest one will be visited next time, I promise).

“The Central Park of Madrid”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

As said in the title, this is like the Central Park (NYC) of Madrid. I liked this place more. Could have spent half a day here. Frenetic, large, lots of people, but you'll be able to find tons of areas where you can't see a single person. Great place to bring a picnic.

“Lovely place to relax”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

Great park to relax after museum runs. There is a pond with boats to rent, children playgrounds, a couple of "palaces" - nice small building, Velazquez' one had a modern art exhibition. We did not eat at a cafe, it looked cheap. Might be better to come there for a picknic with own food and drinks.
