very beautiful and a lot to see! try to enter at the top, near to Puerta de Alcala and then go down till Paseo del Prado. You will see Glorieta, then Palacio de Velazquez enter and see the cool exhibitions. Then go down till Placio de Cristal, very very beautifull ... enchanted place!

Madrid's equivalent of NYC's Central Park, this beautiful place has everything. There are street musicians and fortune tellers and performers and just all kinds of fun people watching opportunities in this place. Give it a good 2 hours or more.

Break with friends and stumbled into the park to chill out after too much walking in the sun. Lovely spot, spotlessly clean and well maintained and the noise of traffic vanished once we got inside. Nice little coffee/cafe area by the lake and boats for hire.

It's a must. It's located in the center of Madrid very cluse to subway stations, the train station Atocha, bus station etc. a short walk in the park is very refreshing, you ca see the Crystal Palace, the other monuments in the park, the gardens, you can rent a boat to go for a ride in the small lake, you can go with roller skate, etc
Also you can stay, near the water for a drink or food.
