This is a great hotel in the middle of everything. Clean, comfortable & calming after a long day in the city. Close to the museums and the metro, as well as shopping and many restaurants. Staff is extremely helpful - especially with restaurant suggestions.

Stayed in the Westin Madrid on New Year's Eve. Had a very positive experience. The hotel has a great location - we walked to all the major sites. Our sleep was very comfortable - has the plush standard Westin bedding and the walls were nice and thick so though the hotel was crowded and it was a holiday night, we didn't hear much noise. The concierges were super helpful with reservations.

I used Starwood points but would be happy to pay for a stay there as well.

Stayed for a work conference. Possibly the best bed I´ve ever slept in. Great location near the Prado and 20 min walk from Plaza Mayor. Decent value. Didn´t have food or drink, except event catering which was fine.

A great hotel with a lot of history but modern amenities where I stayed already twice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent, opposite the Prado, just a few walking minutes from the shopping area. There are a lot of nice restaurants close by. The Concierge gave us great recommendations.

The breakfast was also great, good selection of local and international dishes.

We loved the Westin Palace in Madrid. We stayed for four nights, with two rooms to accommodate our larger than average family. The hotel is beautiful and in a fabulous location, close to the museums, Puerta del sol, the Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, etc. The warmth and service of the staff was impressive; from the concierge to dining staff, everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable and to attend to our every need. We loved the breakfast, which was included. The tremendous variety and high quality of the offerings was impressive, and eating each morning in the beautiful domed room felt like a treat in and of itself. Would go back in a second.

Dear Tripadvisor
Dear Tripadvisor
Thank you for your nice review and for coming back
I was happy to read you noticed our Christmas decoration as we used the Westin brand lens
“NATURE being the main element”. At the entrance of the hotel our festive "Hanging Garden", on the lobby table an open “Terrarium” combining natural elements with hints of seasonal colors and decorative objects with a nature inspired twist. In the main hall a “Westin” tree with only references to the beauty found in nature and under the crystal dome another tree made of a combination of natural plants and flowers. After 101 years of heavenly ornamented Christmas trees with balls, garlands and Nativity scenes we made that change

Stayed here for a few days on the last leg of our BCN, VALENCIA, MADRID trip. Hotel is in a great location and is very nice like most Westin's. Check in was great and they upgraded us to a suite which was beautiful. Beds and showers are comfy and service was good with one bad experience. I called down to the reception desk to ask a question and the receptionist said she was busy, said good bye and slammed down the phone (yes on purpose)! I could not believe it! Spoke to the Manager about this and he said he would speak to them to address the issue and agreed that it was rude behavior.

Otherwise the stay was good. We ate the buffet breakfast daily here too and it was good. The dining room is beautiful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. Let me first of all apologize for the unacceptable behavior of the receptionist who damages the reputation and image of the personal service we want to give. We have addressed this issue and can assure it won´t happen again
