This is the 3rd time that we visited the Palace and we always learn something new. It is really one of these “must do” things while in Madrid. The only thing is that the staff members, from security to guides, are simply looking bored and unenjoyable, not smiling, to say the least. A little more customer service would go a long way!

We were very lucky to see the Royal Coach together with a Cavalry Escort on its way to collect a dignitary who was to have an audience with His majesty! Very lucky to see it and very interesting to watch the ceremonial.

Having read a few of the reviews, I was unsure if it would be worth going. It indeed was! We enjoyed all of it. Even though we had just visited the French and Russian palaces, this was different and the amazing :)

Humongous palace. The area is colder and windier than the small streets of Madrid during the Winter. A must to visit.

Visiting here was quite an experience, the palace was very opulent and showed many treasures, including a room with four Strativarius instruments. Enjoyed the experience quite a lot!
