This was my second visit to the Prado. The first time I rushed it.
This time I collected the map/plan available at the entrance hall at no extra cost, and steadily worked my way around. I went to all the rooms on the first level, including all the side rooms and annnexes, and the upstairs and downstairs rooms.
What an experience! A wealth of paintings, my favourites being by Goya and Ribera, sculptures, drawings and sketches. Absolutely fascinating. I studied many of the artworks for some time, on the initial floor and the one above.
After five hours, with a coffee break in the middle, my legs started to give out, and I had to call it a day. I hadn´t seen all the art on display.
I loved it, and will go again.
