Very cool place and great food. Ham a hundred different ways. And good ale according to my brother. This is a staple of Madrid, a must place to visit!!!

The interior might not attract tourist, but if you give it a chance you will experience great spanish food for very little money. You should especially try the Croissant Mixto, which basically is a croissant with cheese and Spanish ham.

We asked for a fish plate which turned out to be a very bad choice. This place is for just drinking a beer along with some snacks like jamon, chorizzos etc. don't try to eat a normal lunch or dinner because the quality is not good at all!

This is the place for a quick bite and a beer. Lots of choice with ham priced from cheaper to very expensive. Chorizo, salamis and cheese can be added and of course tomato bread. eat standing up.

It is always packed

It was busy downstairs in the bar and upstairs in the restaurant. For a pretty touristy place the servers spoke very little English, but that was fine because the menu is pretty straightforward. Food was pretty average.
