“Excellent choice”

What a choice, a 5 minute walk from Plaza de Espana or Principe Pio metro.
The staff (specially Dimitri) were more than helpful and spoke good english.
Our room was spacious, clean and quite. It included a kitchenette (which was handy if you wanted to make yourself a snack), a great shower, lounge, small table and free Wifi.
The views of the of the Royal Palace of Madrid from our balcony was spectacular.
Sitting on the rooftop terrace at night and overlooking the Palace while having a nice cold beer was even better.
The breakfast room was large and bright and the food was more than ample to keep you going for the day.
My wife and I found the location good as we walked to all the sites to name a few : Prado Museum, Retiro Park and Teleferico.
I highly recommend the Apartosuites and definitely will be back again.

Room Tip: Pay that little bit extra for the views of the Palace.

Smooth check in - everything worked just as it should. Helpful knowledgeable staff who are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent breakfast with attentive staff. This hotel seems popular with Spanish people which speaks volumes for the quality and value. The hotel is in a busy area close to the Royal Palace with wonderful views of the Palace from the rooftop terrace bar (open Tues - Sun). Two Metro stations close by - one uphill and one downhill which works just fine for people like us who caught the metro from the airport. Much of Madrid is easily walkable but we we glad that we had purchased cheap the 5 day transport pass, which for us reasonably fit 60+ tourists was still value for money. DO take extra care around Sol metro station but do enjoy all Madrid has to offer and do stay at this hotel.

In the frenzy of a busy city like Madrid, the ApartoSuites Jardines de Sabatini is a perfect refuge after a day of sight-seeing. The rooms are large, stylish, hip and very clean! Pedro, Marta and all the rest of the staff were more than helpful in providing guidance through the labrynth that is Madrid.

Best of all, our view of the Palezzo Real was spectacular from our large picture window and the balcony. We gazed at the beautifully lit palace each evening as we sipped our wine. There is a nice little wine shop just down the street with a proprieter who will provide you with good recommendations and even open your bottle.

The breakfast room is bright and cheery and with smiling Angie keeping everything in perfect order. The continental buffet breakfast was great at sustaining us well into the afternoon.

Upon my next return to Madrid, I will not hesitate to again make reservations at the ApartoSuites.

Room Tip: We had a spectacular view of the Real Palace from our window and balcony in room #66.

To start, the shower meets my picky standards, no mildew in there :-) Love having a kitchenette. Our room was quiet (despite facing the road), comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient, not far from downtown and close to Madrid Rio park, as well as being close to metro an Cercenias. The staff are friendly and speak good English.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights while we were attending a wedding in Madrid. The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was spacious and very clean. We loved having the studio kitchenette in the room (we never ate breakfast at the hotel). It wasn't warm enough to be up on the roof terrace but that looks lovely in nice weather. We had a great meal very close by at La Mi Venta and highly recommend this restaurant. It would be nice if there was a bit more information about where parks, restaurants, etc. are located. When we first got there, we walked up to Gran Via and it is just a bunch of chain restaurants and felt like we could have been in Time Square. We quickly figured out to head to the Mercado San Miguel for tapas, drinks, bakery, and atmosphere--don't miss it! (the mushroom tapas bar nearby under the Plaza!).

We stayed at Jardines de Sabatini for a long weekend (5 days, Thursday to Monday). Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a view (#77 on the seventh floor). The large room was modern and had a kitchenette that we used once. All very clean. The bathroom had a bath with a tropical shower head. And…a bidet. No slippers or bathrobe provided. A large Flat TV screen mounted on the wall. But no alarm clock. The bed was comfortable. We didn't realise we could have asked for feather pillows which we would have preferred to the non-natural pillows that were provided. What made the room stand out though is the view it had on the Royal Palace. This was magical ! The balcony terrace was a great place to have drinks at night. If your room doesn't have a balcony, the hotel roof terrace is great too. The hotel is on a busy road but soundproofing is good and we didn't hear the street noise with the windows shut. Breakfast was good. Nothing too fancy. It's all self-served. 3 types of juice (Orange, pineapple, peach). Small cuts (ham, chorizo, salami). Danish pastries, churros and doughnuts. Fruits. No eggs on order, just cooked eggs, bacon, tomatoes in the usual hotel-style steel-containers with lids. The hotel is very close to the Royal Palace and Royal Theater area which has lots of restaurants and is very alive at night.
We used Public Transportation (subway) to come from the Airport to the Hotel and found that Plaza de Espana was the best stop, because it goes downhill to San Vincente Avenue.
In the hotel elevator we once met an English couple who told us they had been coming to Jardines for several years now, and if we came back to Madrid this is definitely the place where we would stay again.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a view on the higher floors (6th and above)

I booked this hotel on the basis of other reviews on Tripadvisor and couldn't have chosen better. From the minute we walked in and were greeted by Martha on reception we knew we were in good hands. Our room (72) overlooked the back of the hotel and although on first sight didn't appear to have such a good view this soon proved us wrong with the most amazing sunsets in the evening. The room itself was very spacious with everything you could need for making a quick lunch/evening meal and was absolutely spotless. We arrived on a Saturday and were told to book the rooftop terrace if we wanted to use it and I'm so glad we did as it was very busy with an amazing atmosphere. The terrace is only open for bar service and tapas Thurs - Sat however was an amazing place to go and relax after a hard day sightseeing where you could take your own glass of wine and chill with an amazing view overlooking the Royal Palace or for a coffee in the mornings. The metro stations are within easy walking distance - we chose to walk down to Principe Pio on our days out and get off at Plaza de Espana and walk downhill when returning to hotel but to be honest the majority of places are within easy walking distance if you like walking. We wanted to do a day trip to Toledo but upon arriving at the main Atocha Renfe station found that we couldn't book tickets from the machine and after an hour of waiting in the ticket office (you must take ticket and wait for your number to be called) gave up and wandered back into the city centre. If you are a car enthusiast make sure you book a tour of the car museum at reception - my other half raved about it. I feel that this hotel was amazing value for money and would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be back when we return to Madrid!
