“good food but terrible service.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

I usually hate chains, but I have been told to go here with friends, place is nice and modern and the food was actually good.

BUT, it is a only tourist location (as chains..), the waitresses were VERY unfriendly and even rude. it is really far from old and typical Tavernia you can find in La Latina and really strange, it was really quiet... ;)

“tapas in modern ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

Nice tapas bar (a chain, we understood), looks very minimalistic. Service is good, tapas are interesting and tasty. We particularly like mushroom risotto. Beer is served in funny ball shaped glasses.

“Great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2013

It is a great place to taste some tapas. It may not be the most traditional restaurante in Madrid but it has a nice approach to the typical dishes. It is not cheap and the staff, although efficient, is not the most likable of the world. Nevertheless, the place is worth a visit if you want a mix of traditional and fancy dinner.

“Inedible food, surly service.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

Went for lunch at our hotel's recommendation. Out of four dishes, two were inedible. Onion soup was watery, tasted canned and was served barely warm. Server took this away virtually untouched without comment. Potatoes with spicy sauce, a simple and delicious specialty, were served with a sauce indistinguishable from Campbell's Tomato soup. Again, no one cared when the dish was left mostly untouched. The other two dishes were mediocre compared to the marvelous food we've come to expect after a week in Spain.

Service was brusque and inattentive. The waitress poured a glass of red wine for the Spanish woman at table next to us. She politely said that she had asked for white, at which point the waitress argued and contradicted and then tried to get another staff person involved. In the end the replacement white was practically slammed on their table.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

Our hotel recommended we try this current, modern take on tapas style restaurant. We were seated quickly and the menu had many gorgeous sounding foods. The ones we ordered were excellently cooked and executed. A modern place in a very fantastic plaza.
