It offers a creative and seasonal menu that combines new culinary trends with traditional dishes, providing some enjoyable surprises. In the elegant and welcoming dining room diners can enjoy dishes such as scallops with foie gras, a ruby port reduction and spiced toasts; tartare of prawns with white garlic and avocado ceviche; or Ibérico pork loin roasted with fresh figs and sherry. “Great restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

Booked after recommendations from T.A. As others have commented restaurant in a nice square, we found it easy using our phone's map. Staff were very welcoming and we were shown to our table straight away.
The amuse bouche (beef) was amazing, and one of our party was hoping that his main course which include the beef was as good - he was not disappointed. The shavings of foie gras starter was enormous, too much for one person really, but still delicious. We were all very happy with our mains, my only comment is having the foie gras and then the pasta with sage and butter sauce, was not the best decision as both dishes were really rich. The wine list was good and the wine itself lovely. Would definitely go back, but would probably share a starter, which would also mean I get to have a pudding!

“Excellent service and very tasty food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013 via mobile

Although something seemed to have gone wrong with our reservation, we were given a table within 15 minutes while waiting in the nicely decorated cellar. We were recommended to share an appetizer (very tasty cured ham) and to order seperate main courses (hamburger and monkfish, also both very nicely prepared). We shared dessert, mouthwatering oreo cheesecake...as compensation for waiting, we were offered a free drink, not expected, well appreciated!

“Really wonderful brunch!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

Found this on TA and made a reservation for a Saturday brunch. When we arrived at 2:30, the place was empty so we worried if we made the right choice. By 3:30, it was packed with locals and we knew it was a winner. Bread and amuse bouche (which we think was squash soup - our waitress spoke no English....the menu is in English so no worries about that for us tourists) was wonderful! We could have had a bowl of that with the bread and been done. Goat cheese salad was exceptional. Iberian pork with hummus was very filling and tasty. Pita would have been better warmed. The squash ravioli with butter and sage is delicious but warning, exceptionally rich! The vegetable lasagne was much lighter and delicious. We would go back just for that.

They were short on staff so service was a bit slow. Knocked off a star because honestly, the table and chairs could be more comfortable. Butt hurting chairs and tables where you can't cross your legs. But go for the food and you won't be disappointed.
